After LONG consideration and a few visits to Dr. Dahan's office with a friend, In February of 2009, I made a decision to have abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and liposculpture (liposuction) hips and flanks. I had reached the end of my rope with how my body looked and quite honestly I couldn't stand the thought of looking at myself in the mirror or being intimate with my husband. A couple of months post op I had lost more weight and was finally at a weight that I hadn't seen in a very long time. The surgery that Dr. Phillip Dahan performed is what got the ball rolling to my current physical shape and career path that I am now on. After nearly 35 pounds of weight loss and the slight push of my personal trainer I actually became a personal trainer myself, and August of 2013 competed in my first NPC Women's Figure competition.
Without the surgery I would NEVER have had the courage to get on stage in front of a few thousand spectators in a bikini and heels.
